June 2024–Hayesville High School Class of 2004 celebrated its 20th reunion at the Mountain Harbour Golf Club, with friends, food and fun. On the committee for the event was Michael and Carly Murray, 2004 graduates and homeowners at Mountain Harbour. May 11, 2024–Hayesville Middle School 8th grade students enjoyed a night of music, food, friendship, and fun at their Grand Gala Formal held at Mountain Harbour Golf Club. April 25, 2024–Mountain Harbour Golf Club was proud to host the 2024 Clay County Chamber of Commerce annual awards meeting and dinner. With nearly 100 people in attendance, the Chamber presented awards for Business of the Year, Rookie Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and People’s Choice Award. Nearly a hundred people, many from the Mountain Harbour community, came out to support a fundraiser for local animals and their caretakers to benefit ARFS (Animal Rescue Financial Support) on Sunday, April 16, at the Mountain Harbour Clubhouse. More than 50 raffle prizes were offered thanks to the generosity of businesses in Hayesville, Hiawassee and Blairsville, and the generosity of
Hayesville High School 11th grade students enjoyed breakfast with local community leaders. This year’s event, held on Monday, April 22, 2024, was sponsored by Bill and Barb Wheeler, homeowners at Mountain Harbour Golf Club.
