Mountain Harbour Golf Club Hosts its 2025 Ladies and Mens Member/Guest Tournaments

This past weekend was packed with fun events and great golf for Mountain Harbour’s members and guests alike. This premier annual event provides members and guests with a chance to enjoy fun and challenging golf while meeting new friends.

The ladies started the festivities on Thursday morning with their one-day tournament. Many low scores were posted within the two flights. Winners were announced during a luncheon provided by the Mountain Harbour Grill. Low Gross award went to the team of Nancy Outlaw and Kalyn Kight. Winning the 2nd flight was the team of Kay Kirkland and Jennie Kulzer. The 2025 Ladies Member/Guest Champions team members Diana Azor and Kathy Flautt. Later in the evening, the ladies came back to the clubhouse to enjoy a “Sip and Paint” class taught by Ellen Englemann.

The Mountain Harbour men and their guests played in a par-three contest on Thursday afternoon, set up by Matt Cook. Later in the evening, while the ladies painted, the men attended a pairings party in the members’ lounge. The two-day tournament commenced on Friday morning with a “better ball of partners” format. Saturday’s format was much tougher because both balls counted. Scores were calculated and flight winners determined.

Flight 1 winners: Marty White/Jeff Kulzer,  Flight 2 winners: Frank Kulbertis/Bob DeJianne, Flight 3 winners: Jorge Azor/Jim Flautt, Flight 4 winners: Durrell Kirkland/Gene Duff.

All flight winners proceeded to play a three-hole aggregate shootout to determine the overall Champion.

The 2025 Men’s Member/Guest Champions are Durrell Kirkland and Gene Duff.
