On Tuesday May 7, 55 men from 13 schools across western North Carolina competed at Mountain Harbour Golf Club for the right to advance to the State 1A finals at Pinehurst #6 May 13 – 14. 7 schools sent 4 man teams, while another 6 sent individuals. Three teams advanced as well as 6 individuals not part of the winning three teams.
The weather was beautiful and the course was ready for play from the championship tees.
